Yesterday night, Polestones tech launched their first product—Polestones 01, which is a hardcore family PHEV suv.
It sets Lixiang Auto L8 as the main competitor and is we can easily see this from the media announcement and the product positioning.
Like Lixiang Auto L8, it equips a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine as the generator, even the engines come from the same factory — Mianyang Xinchen.
However, Polestones 01 carries a 56kWh battery ( Lixiang Auto L8 is 41 kWh) and this makes its pure battery range comes to over 230km (WLTC).
More importantly, a 70L fuel tank is laid on the chassis to realize the energy supply when you travel a far journey.
Different from its competitor, Polestones 01 has 2 layouts of seats—-6 seats version with luxury first-class seats and 7 seats version with 3 seats in the 3rd row.
Polestones aims to the users who has the accurate car using scene—-daily commuting and outdoor traveling. It even makes a kitchen kit as an optional parts, all the highlight points in its publicity are all about camping and traveling.
