Each company separately announced its unit sales for August. Lixiang Auto achieved over 10,000 deliveries for all three models, L7, L8, and L9, for the first time, with a total of 34,914 deliveries. NIO delivered over 19,000 new vehicles, showing a year-on-year growth of over 80%. XPeng Motors, following the launch of the G6, saw continuously rising sales due to its excellent product quality and pricing. In August, XPeng delivered over 12,000 new vehicles, with over 8,000 being XPeng G6 models. BYD Motors continued to lead the Chinese new energy vehicle market with sales exceeding 250,000 units, ranking first in sales. Their models, BYD Han and BYD Tang, are also set to receive upgrades. In August, BYD Motors introduced their latest hybrid model, the “Equation Leopard 5,” which is expected to officially launch in November. Leapmotor delivered over 14,000 new vehicles in August, thanks to the launch of the extended-range version C11. Zeekr delivered 12,303 units in August and just unveiled their latest performance edition of Zeekr 001
